The Art of Being Fly
What looks cool? What pops off the screen? What is appealing to the eye? I use that as a foundation as I consider art direction. I like to use a variety of palettes inspired by anything from cubism to drug dealer chic of the 90s.
Civic Minded
Being fly is the foundation, but serving my community is the goal. Design isn't neutral — it either reinforces inequity or helps dismantle it. I'm focused on using my skills to build tools and systems that help people, particularly those who've been underserved by technology.
Past is Present
Good design doesn't start from scratch — it's built on the foundations laid by everyone who came before. I study both art history and the thinkers who shaped how we see the world, using their insights to inform my work today. I'm a sum of those who came before me; my goal is to make them proud.
